Calendar References
Quotations for the 2008 Friends’ Calendar are taken from Scripture (King James Version, unless otherwise indicated)
and from the writings of Friends (Quakers), from writings that Friends of an earlier time valued, and that Friends
today would do well to consider. We list the year of the quotation. We hope these citations will lead to further
reflection and study, with consideration of spiritual and historic context.
